We received the newly chromed trim and hardware this week and it looks fantastic. This chrome will look even more amazing once back on the boat.

Update 03/16/2018
So this is what the boat looks like after 8 coats of varnish. The next steps will be to fill any seams that need to be filled and then wet sand the entire boat for complete flatness. Once the boat is sanded flat we will then apply the final coat of varnish.
Update 04/06/2018
We are almost finished with the engine. We have the engine cleaned and painted as you can see. We still have a few things finish before we install the engine back into the boat. Once the engine is installed back into the boat we will then take the boat to the lake and dip the boat to let the planks absorb water and swell to ensure all of the seams are closed then we will bring the boat back to the shop and wet sand the varnish till it is completely flat then apply the final coat of varnish.

Update 08/24/2018
BEFORE
AFTER
As you can see in the pictures above we have corrected the mistake that we made on the aft deck and engine hatch. Before the planks were very blocky with defined lines at each plank seam. The should have been smooth and rounded to match the curve of the deck, the way they look now.
We have also began working on the bottom. We are hoping to have everything prepped for paint by the end of the day so that we can paint the bottom the first of next week. Once that is complete we can then begin re-assembly.
Update 08/31/2018
The bottom is painted and now we can apply the last coat of varnish, paint the boot stripe and then on to assembly.
Update 09/20/2018
We are working this week to wet sand the decks and sides to prep for the final coat of varnish.
Update 10/19/2018
Final assembly is under way. We are getting close.
When we were reinstalling the hatch lid we discovered a section of rot that we somehow miss before. We had to route out the section of rot and make a new piece of wood to replace the section that was removed.
The wheel is looking phenomenal.
