We have the decks completely sanded and flat for the most part. There were a few spots where we burned through the varnish while trying to get the varnish completely smooth. The areas on the side panels we intentionally sanded to far to remove marks left in the wood by the seat frame. Before varnish begins we will color match all areas of bare wood.
We now have the color matched and the first coat of varnish laid. We will put four to five more coats on then wet sand everything again to make sure we are keeping the varnish as smooth as possible.
The new gauges for the boat came in today and look great.
