The jetson pole came in.
The original block we started working on was deemed not fixable. If you look at the pictures above you can see the freeze plug had rusted completely out of the block and the threads were in such bad shape that they could not be repaired.
Here you can see the ports in the block were corroded and full of rust.
Since the other block was deemed not fixable here is the new block we will be starting with.
Here are some pictures showing the old cam shaft and valves. As you can see in the picture to the left the lobes on the cam shaft were wore beyond use. We will be installing a new camshaft. The picture on the right shows you a new and old valve. You can see the one on the right is pitted and have pieces eroded away around the stem. The valve on the left is one of the new ones we will be installing.
