NEW TRANSOM..... She is 2 inches shorter. Most side planks were rotted at the ends.

New planks were installed extra long a few inches longer than the transom. Once installation was complete, the planks were trimmed off and faired to the transom

The steaming set up. This allows the strips to be noodles.
When steamed, we can bend our wood in crazy posistions. This is a white oak noodle!
The steaming process allows us to make tight bends with the strips without taking a chance on snapping them in two.
Strips are not installed, they are simply taking shape and drying out.
New ribs are installed and the 5200 is setting up. We will trim the ends once everything is dry.
