In the picture above to the left you can see we repaired a small section of rot. We cut out all of the rot down to good wood and epoxied a new piece of mahogany. Then we trimmed and sanded to make the new piece match and coated with CPES, which stands for clear penetrating epoxy sealer. This will create a protective barrier over the wood. You can also see in the picture to the right we have removed another side plank and a section of batten. We will now fabricate new planks and a new section of batten.
