Bottom work is coming along nicely. The new keel has been fit and new framework is quickly replacing the old.

Above is an extensive update of the progress being made on the Sportsman, and it includes a recommendation concerning the engine's carburetor. Additionally, the stern flagstaff is in and awaiting installment.

There are a lot of things to update you on! First, the trailer has been cleaned and the varnish stains have been removed. The next step is to have the trailer go through an acid bath. Secondly, a windshield has been ordered and chrome has been sent off to be redone. Thirdly, the fuel tank is completed!

The bottom of the Sportsman has had a coat of bilge paint applied to protect against the growth of mold. Now, our contractor is working on shaping planks to apply to the sides.

Your rub rails have been polished. The one on the right in the plastic sleeve is yours, and the one on the left is an example of what it looked like before. 
The Sportsman has been hand-planed and after the final woodworking tasks are done, it will be ready to be sanded.

Progress thus far: the boat has been bunged, and is currently still being sanded to ensure that everything is just right before moving onto the next steps.
